Illuminated Glass
The first question we need to answer is: What is switchable/smart glass? Modern building trends are favouring the use of glass materials for external and internal applications alike. This idea will only expand in the foreseeable future, therefore it is paramount to keep pace with the constantly changing and developing world of the built environment. One of the most advanced offspring of this new world in the glass and glazing industry is the switchable privacy glass, or as we call it here at Glass Technique, the TechnoLite product range. Our LED glass systems are fully programmable with DMX, DALI, or WiFi control, offering dynamic lighting sequences, colour changes, and static illumination. Available in densities from 20 to 100 LEDs per square metre, custom-sized up to 1.8m × 3.2m. Powered by 24V DC with included driver.
Highly Effective
Double Embossed: VS102, VS103, and VS104 have been designed and manufactured with both surfaces being embossed, allowing an easier de-airing even in low-quality ovens with a not-so-efficient vacuum pump.
Compatibility
Low temperature crosslinking: Vistasafe interlayers can be laminated with temperatures as low as +100°C (time dependent) and hence providing the possibility of lamination with sensitive inserts and materials.
Maximum Clarity
Transparency unmatched: The Vistasafe interlayer range is the clearest, most transparent EVA in the market, and offers new possibilities in combination with Low-Iron, Antireflective, or even Switchable glass.

Superb hydrophobicity: Not all EVAs are the same. Vistasafe is one of the few interlayers available with a perfect thermosetting property. This makes the entire Vistasafe range the perfect candidate for outdoors.

TechnoLite is a laminated toughened safety glass comprising two or more tempered glass panes, with our special PDLC film encapsulated in between. Toughened or tempered glass is a heat-treated product that is 5 times stronger and more resilient to physical contact than standard, annealed glass.
Our laminated products are predominantly made by EVA interlayer. Unlike the commonly used PVB, Ethylene-Vinyl Acetate (EVA) is a moisture-resistant copolymer that is only increasing the quality and anti-delamination properties of our products. Our switchable glass is a perfect choice for environments with high humidity such as bathrooms, saunas, SPA-s, and external applications in general.
